Broken Mirror

Tales of the Black Court, #3

This enchanting tale is the third novel in author Jessica Aspen’s outstanding Tales of the Black Court series. I was floored by this novel. As I have mentioned before, I’ve fallen hard for Bosco, the mysterious man who features in these books as a main character. He’s back, and better and stronger than ever. And Cassie! What a tale she has! I’ve very quickly become enamored with the very strong storyline that flows seamlessly from book to book, and the ever changing, dynamic characters that are truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this book, as well as reading in order.

Bosco has been searching for years for a way to take down the Black Queen. He’s had the fortune to connect with Prince Kian, who has also been trying to overthrow the Queen. And now the mysterious being who is guiding Bosco has one more final mission for him: sneak into The Summer Court and steal the Broken Mirror The Black Queen has hidden there. Sneaking in isn’t the problem he has; it’s finding the Mirror, or whoever is being used as a Mirror. A short while later, Bosco is disguised, and wrangling an invitation to dinner from the Princess Cassie of the Black Court. But wait, the Court never had a living princess, did it? Bosco is sure something is up with Cassie. Secrets abound at The Summer Court, and Bosco must hurry to find the Mirror. But Cassie seems to have something wrong with her. No memories of her childhood that make sense, and no legal trace of her, anywhere. As intrigue swirls around them both, Bosco must not only save himself, but this damaged girl as well, and a mirror. But what happens next and is revealed next is the most stunning secret of them all.

Book Blurb for Broken Mirror

A false princess, the court trickster, and a magic spell, woven together with a frog prince twist.

Trapped in a twisted spell, Cassie uses her psychic Gift to help the Black Queen hunt down the rebel Prince Kian and his human wife, never knowing she’s hunting her own sister. But when a handsome black-eyed fae kisses her, the fairy tale begins to crumble, and she tumbles down into a confused rabbit hole of memories and magic.

When he runs into a beautiful fae princess who shouldn’t exist, he knows something is very wrong in the Queen’s court. But lovely Cassie might be the only person who can help him achieve his quest, and Bosco decides he will root out all of Cassie’s secrets, even if it means losing her trust.
