To begin, I am a sucker for the long lost love stories, and this novel hits all the right notes. We first start by meeting Brant and Garland, two very strong souls who collided during one hot Texas summer.. I fell hard for both Brant and Garland, as each one is very strong, but also uniquely vulnerable. And then we meet Brash and Brandon, and those two boys are trouble with a capital T. Both boys are fiercely loyal, and despite different upbringings, has a steadfast love of family and friends. Talk about major book boyfriend material! I found this book to be full of love and heart, as well as heartache and misery. This is the first of author Victoria Danann’s fantastic Sons of Sanctuary MC books, and let me be the first to say, I’m hooked!
Brant Fornight had no idea that his dream would walk through his work door that hot summer day. But when Garland St. Germaine sauntered in, somewhat lost, Brant knew he was a goner. After a few lovely weeks together, situations caused their separation, but when she left, she carried very precious cargo: his twin boys, soon to be known as Brandon and Brannah, (Brand and Brash). Jump forward twenty odd years later, and the boys are fully grown. Brandon knows his mother, while Brash knows their father. And when Brash sees his unknown brother on the cover of a magazine, all bets are off. Add in a sexy grad student investigating motorcycle club structure and tearing up Brash’s heart, and Brash has his hands full. And when the boys meet, situations will change for all involved in ways no one could anticipate.
New series from USA Today bestselling author, Victoria Danann.
The Biker and The Billionaire
Two brothers, one a player, one a playboy, are on a collision course with destiny and a woman who thought she won a prize when she was allowed a look inside the Sons of Sanctuary MC.
Intro to the Sons of Sanctuary MC, A Season in Gemini, is published in the anthology Summer Fire, available on Amazon
Brigid Roan is a graduate student at the University of Texas. She had no trouble getting her thesis approved, but finding a Hill Country motorcycle club willing to give her access to their lifestyle was looking impossible. Then she got a lead. A friend of a friend had a cousin with family ties to The Sons of Sanctuary.
What Brigid wanted was information to prove a proposition. The last thing she had in mind was falling for one of the members of the club. Especially since she was a feminist academic out to prove that motorcycle clubs are organized according to the same structure as primitive tribal society.
Brash Fornight was standing in line at the H.E.B. Market when his world tipped on its axis. While waiting his turn to check out, his gaze had wandered to the magazine display and settled on the new issue of “NOW”. The image on the cover, although GQ’d up in an insanely urbane way, was… him.
After reading the article, Brash threw some stuff in a duffle and left his only home, a room at The Sons of Sanctuary clubhouse, with a vague explanation about needing a couple of days away. He left his truck at the Austin airport and caught a plane for New York, on a mission to find a mysterious guy walking around with his face.
