I just ordered my copy. Thanks for sharing the info. I also looked at the archived vintage pamphlets and downloaded a few. I wish they had paper copies available. The graphics are so cool and the recipes are hysterical. Some of the earliest ones are four lines long. No oven temps(hot or moderate oven) LOL. I have a recipe that my grandmother made and is still my fathers favorite. She called it Boiled Raisin Cake. When my parents got married in 1948, my mom asked her for the recipe. Grandma said "kid" I don't have a recipe, I just add things to the bowl til it looks right. So one day my mom went over and watched grandma putting stuff in the bowl and measured the flour first and then everything else grandma used by pouring into her palm. This cake is so good and as I said still a favorite today. My husband and I use alot of dried fruit in cookie recipes and I'll be looking through the cookbook for some new ones.
